being in an organisation who's big on staff training has its pros and cons.
When one is buried and nearly breathless with work, it can feel like such a chore, or white elephant even.
But once in a while, everything can fall into place - the content (relevant and light), the trainer (engaging, credible and humourous), the timing (at a time when the work pile is more of a hill than a mountain).
At times like this, it can be a delight.
And bemusedtots being bemusedtots, I'm not complaining about two days of learning about various character profiles, and taking psychology/personality tests. This something that always fascinates me.
It feels like play. Well, almost.
