When a certain sports brand came up with the slogan 'Impossible is nothing', I was pretty taken with it. Three words that capture the essence of the never-say-never attitude for sportsmen and women, professional, amateur or leisure. Thumbing your nose at the seemingly unattainable goals - oh so nonchalently cool.
But as I pushed through long runs and trainings, I took a different take from it.
Impossible is not nothing. It's sweat, blood and even tears. Not forgetting lots and lots of mental strength and self-discipline.
So, nope, it's not nothing, it can't be written off just like that. To achieve the impossible, it's way more than that.
But that immense satisfaction that you earn with going for it with all you've got? All so worth it.
